Herstory in ICT ...100e blog

In 1995 I became an early adopter of Internet by visiting as an individual the NGO Forum of the 4th World Conference of Women in China. Since that time I am a professional in ICT. I was proud to be able to sent a mail to Amsterdam from Huairou (China). This email is in Atria and by that mail I am good example / best practice of 'early remote work' in the Netherlands. In 2016 I wrote a letter to young feminists a.o. with a picture of emailing in Huairou. (Note 1) In 1997 I became a projectmanager of the first site about women in politics the so-called VIP-site (Vrouwen in de Politiek website) during the project Emancipatie op Internet. I can remember how proud I felt, when I saw at the start of the Conference the VIP-sie in the Hague. Special was the number of people I know as a person... instead of everyone in the area of advancement of women 25% of all the: participants of this Conference to end the project Emancipatie op Internet. I bought in 1995 and read the book door Marianne van den Boomen Internet ABC voor vrouwen met als prachtige subtitel: Een inleiding voor d@t@dmes en modemmeiden en zie nu dat het boek is uitgegeven door het Instituut voor Publiek en Politiek (IPP) waar ik werkte als progrmmaleider van 2000 tot 2003. (zie LinkedIn profiel van Arina Angerman) I wrote a blog on IWD in 2018 with a reference to this book (Note 2) In my years with IPP I Know I travelled to Rotterdam (Sparta stadion) to chair a discussion about the Digitale Trapvelden. You can find de Digitale Trapvelden by searching by Google or Ecosia. In 2003 - 2009 I was managing director of NSI Zuid-Holland and involved in ICT and remember visiting a Conference about Open Source and Open Standaarden. From 2016-2021 I was a social entrepreneur Social Media 4 Boomers and used blogging as a tool to get customers. (Note 3) In 2024 I became a member of GroenLinks Netwerk Digitale Samenleving. Now at 70+ I am still financial independent and care about women's rights (SDG50) and remain using as social media tools Linkedin and Whatsapp and also Signal since the start of 2025. Internationale Vrouwendag 2025 / #IWD2025

Vandaag 5 maart kocht ik nieuwe rode sneakers om 8 maart mee te kunnen lopen met de Feminist March in Amsterdam. Het thema wordt Verbinding door #Feminisme! Als #feminist van 70+ en sinds 1979 een bewuste feminist, mijn ex vond in 1979 dat hij voor mij wel kon beslissen over een eventuele abortus, kan ik het daarmee van harte eens zijn. Ik ben erg van

Baas in Eigen Buik Ik ben begonnen met mijn cursus valpreventie waar ik veel leer o.a. hoe beter te ademen vanuit mijn buik :) Mijn andere to do voor 2025 - twee keer per week naar de fitness ... lukt mij ook! Dus geen Blue Monday voor mij. Mijn activiteiten voor Oudere Vrouwen Netwerk NL blijven inspirerend net als die voor de politieke partij van mijn keuze. Ik werd in 1991 lid van de PvdA en blijf lekker actief voor deze politieke partij! Netwerken is nog steeds erg leuk om te doen. Zo leeerde ik mijn 'zoon' kennen, waar ik nog steeds lekker mee blijf WhatsAppen en koffie drinken. Uiteindelijk liep ik niet mee met de Feminist March. Wel blijf ik graag netwerken met elkaar verbinden. Tijdens het netwerken op 7 maart 2025 ontdekte ik weer de pensioenkloof van 40% en de inspiratie door feminist Wilhelmina Drucker (Dolle Mina). A personal story about #IWD's in the Netherlands

In the Bold & Brilliant invitation sent by Dr. Jocelynne Scutt I was introduced as a speaker. I studied in Groningen (at least 2 hours by train from Amsterdam) and have lived in Amsterdam since 1985. I have represented International Alliance of Women (IAW) in the Board of European Women's Lobby (EWL) since October 2014. I attended several annual meetings of IAW including Reykjavik (2011) and Berlin (2018). I have been working as an expert women in decision-making since 1990. As a retired professional I still publish blogs (Note 1) and tweets about women in politics in order to support both IAW @womenalliance and EWL @EuropeanWomen. I still am an entrepreneur Social Media 4 Boomers. As a student I became a conscious feminist in 1979 partly as a result of talking to members of my herstory group 'the fifties' about abortion and the right to decide as a woman to have one. She Decides movement or being a boss in your own belly still is an important subject for us feminists of all walks of life. As a student in social and political history in Groningen I went to an event on March 8 where prostitutes from Amsterdam were talking about their sex work. This strategy of talking with is very, very important and is from where we - as feminists - have come! As a conscious feminist in 1996 I went to the city hall of Amstelveen as part of my job seeking challinge to attend a lecture by Marianne van den Boomen about a new opportunity: Internet! Her book subtitles Internet ABC for women. I reread her lecture in 2010 and connected it to the Aletta Jacobs (Note 2) speech at 8.3 by the first woman of the Netherlands who became an EU Commissioner, Neelie Kroes, in 2004. As a woman in politics in 2019 I was a candidate at place 15 in the Elections for the European Parliament (Note 3). Since the summer of 2020 I have supported the campaign 'Omdat ik het verdien' / 'Because I deserve it' (for equal pay) at Instagram by giving likes and comments. This campaign is inspired by the example of Iceland. In 2021 I liked on Insta at Happy International Women's Day "I'll tell you what I want, what I really want ... Concluding from the Netherlands to all of us in 2021 I shared Anouk You Tube It's a New Day. This video is dedicated to the ones leading the way like Emma Gonzalez (USA), Frida Kahlo (Mexico) and Jacinda Ardern (New Zealand) (Note 4). Quote "A life without purpose is no life at all". My personal vision since 2010 is: remain developing your electronic skills (eSkills): 1st Internet, 2nd social media and 3rd since corona pandemie how to Zoom. In order to reach a gender equal society it is important to remain healthy and develop electronic skills (eSkills) step by step and use them as a strategy: frapper toujours (always hit!) For a quarter of a century she was at the head of the Dutch Women's Suffrage Association and is also a BIG inspiration in the herstory of IAW! Ken jij Lilianne Ploumen (PvdA)?

In januari 2021 las ik De deur naar de macht door Lilianne Ploumen. Een inspiratie voor haar is:"Ik zag onrecht, dan strijd je." In dit boek laat zij zien 'hoe persoonlijk mijn (Lilianne Ploumen) politiek is en waarom ik geloof in een strategie die de kracht van sociale bewegingen en de macht van politiek combineert.' Als feminist niet alleen zijn, maar ook doen is al vele jaren mijn motto. Ik steun de politieke partij van mijn keuze: PvdA. Als dochter van een bakker uit het Groningse Beerta voel ik mij sterk verbonden met de dochter van een melkboer uit het Limburgse Maastricht. Sinds 1979 steun ik een seksueel recht als Baas in eigen buik (Noot 1.). Omdat recht op een legale en veilige abortus een vrouw de kans geeft economisch zelfstandig te blijven. Arina Angerman PvdA nr: 15

Grote verbondenheid met Europa ontwikkelde Arina als meisje in het Groningse Beerta toen zij nummerborden voorbij zag rijden uit Duitsland of Zweden. Vanuit haar opleiding Sociale en Politieke Geschiedenis hecht zij aan terugkijken. Vanuit haar grote passie voor politiek werkt zij graag samen vooruit aan een sociaal Europa. Sinds 1985 vanuit Amsterdam, omdat Arina houdt van VRIJHEID!
